Reviewers rave about the unique Taiyaki, which is described as "to die for" by Edwin Ortiz, highlighting both its taste and the friendly service. The shop also specializes in matcha, serving ceremonial-grade options that are both dairy and gluten-free, which Alexandria Shangreaux found quite refreshing.

Overall, Shugā TAIYAKI shop is recognized as a delightful spot for innovative snacks and beverages with a welcoming vibe that encourages repeat visits.
One of the cutest little spots I've seen! the bathroom was quite fun. The food looked delicious, although all we ordered was mochi and matcha. We were happy to see raw ceremonial matcha being served. So no added sweaters and syrups! Dairy free options. Glutten free options too. All very good. Loved visiting here and can't wait to come back.
Taiyaki is to die for! Love the atmosphere and the treatment from the employees. Will go back for sure to check on the Mochi ice cream balls (giggity)
In ordered the Korean mocho corn dog, the one that had homemade potato, it was delicious half had a hot dog the other half was filled with mozzarella cheese. For refreshments I had the coconut bubble tea with white chocolate oreo and dessert I order the waffle sticks.
They have the best Bubble Tea in Puerto Rico! My personal favorite is definitely the Winter Melon, I get it almost every time I go. If your around Aguadilla you should definitely go check it out.
Here’s my rating on the food: Corn dog de papas 7/10 - would buy again they’re delicious and savory Crepes - when they make an actual crepe- 7/10 would buy again (though they’re kinda hard to eat without getting messy jaja) Mango dessert - 4/10 mid, would not buy again it has no flavor, very underwhelming, not worth the money Strawberry dessert - 3/10, I didn’t like the filling at all but I would say at least try it cause my friend really liked it, I think he gave it like an 8/10. I wouldn’t eat again even if it was free Blueberry dessert - I rrrreallly liked it, I like to eat it without the cookie plate but it’s still good flavor with it 7/10 would definitely buy again From this place I have only tried the corn dogs, my favorite was the one with papas and I’ve also tried the crepes. I have to say the crepes are hit or miss. I’ve had them a couple times and sometimes they’re perfect and other times it’s literally almost as thick as a pancake. So that’s pretty disappointing. Other than that for those who are wondering about the fruit deserts I’ve tried the blueberry, strawberry and mango. Blue berry was great in my opinion, the strawberry I did not like it because I usually don’t like that strawberry artificial syrup that’s inside of it but my friend liked it. And he did not like the blueberry. The mango which is the main attraction was disappointing. I came 4 times in the weekends Saturday and Sunday to wait in the line before I finally decided to make a pre-order because I couldn’t get my hands on them. When I finally get the mango and taste it…it literally tasted like nothing. I didn’t even have the hint of mango that was inside I have no idea how that’s possible. It’s made with cheesecake but even then the Cheesecake had no flavor. Mind you my favorite fruit is mango. I bought two mangos so I had enough to share with multiple people, two of my friends tried it, my cousin tried it, ny mom tried it and my siblings tried. Everyone said the same thing. That it was ok at most and that they didn’t really taste like anything. I was kind of at least expecting some flavors since I saw so many video reviews but it was not matching what others were saying. Anyways the place is very cute and a nice atmosphere. Some good food. And if you wanna buy some cute collectibles they have some. I think I’ve bought like four from there. Hope this helps whoever, enjoyy
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! . My girl and I bought about 7 things in the menu. From takoyaki, okonomiyaki, taiyaki, the tornado potato, ransen yakitori ripper and mochi donut all of it made my heart sing from the joy that my palate was having. If your like Asian food and want something unique I recommend going all the way to aguadillas and give yourself the chance to eat in Shuga.
This spot is too adorable! Kid friendly all the way… staff were amazing we went a hour before closing and they still had a crowd.
